Images of our Community
The City of Plant City has a rich and long history, dating back to the mid-1800's, when settlers first began to populate Florida. Plant City derives its name, not from the surrounding, and abundant, agricultural industry, but from Henry B. Plant, who extended the South Florida Railroad into Plant City in 1884. Originally a large cotton center, Plant City eventually changed its major crop to Strawberries and is now known as the "Winter Strawberry Capital of the World". Our community is made up of hard-working people who understand the importance of time-honored values such as family, faith and freedom. At the Heritage Law Group, we share those same values that make living and working in a place like historic Plant City, and communities like it around Florida, so great.
The Heritage Law Group Building has a unique and storied history in our community. Chartered in 1906, the Bank of Plant City opened its offices in what now serves as the building of the Heritage Law Group. Located on Collins Street, at the intersection of Reynolds Street, the location of our building has always been considered the heart of historic downtown Plant City. The Central Pharmacy was originally in the south portion of the original Bank of Plant City Building. This prominent building has served as home to various businesses in Plant City throughout the years, including several drug stores and doctors offices. Completely renovated in 2008, the Heritage Law Group is proud to call this historic dowtown landmark our home.
