Heritage Law Group:

Beyond the Practice of Law

“The public good is in nothing more essentially interested, than in the protection of every individual's private rights.”

William Blackstone

At the Heritage Law Group, we believe that "We the people" are ultimately responsible for our government and the preservation of the "public good".  As one of our early Presidents, James Garfield said, "Now, more than ever, the people are responsible for the character of their Congress.  If that body be ignorant, reckless and corrupt, it is because the people tolerate ignorance, recklessness and corruption.  If it be intelligent, brave and pure, it is because the people demand these high qualities to represent them in the national legislature."

At the Heritage Law Group, we believe that everyone has a responsiblity to do their part to be good citizens, to stay informed and help protect the fundamental rights and liberties that have made our nation great.  For us, that means going beyond our profession of the practice of law, and to do our part to help educate, promote and positively influence our local community, state and nation.  As part of that vision, each of our attorneys and staff are encouraged to take an active part in our local churches, community and civic organizations.  Additionally, as a law firm, we seek to stay informed of the "current issues of the day" and to provide resources and information that may benefit our local community, and beyond, to help protect and preserve our nation for future generations.  To that end, please find below links to several resources that may help you to be informed and active citizens of your community, state and nation:
